What kinda paint as in the colour code or colour color?

Lacquering will preserve the paint exterior, but critics say that it will do more harm than good in the long run. Its fine in the short run when you have brilliant and glosy finish no matter what the weather conditions are. The problem sets in about a year later when the first layer of lacquer starts peeling and cracking. Its minor, so it aint that bad. Till it grows.

On the other hand, you wouldn't want to have small knocks or dents here and there coz it would be a task to strip the lacquer off first before you're able to spray a new coat of paint.

Think it over. The pros and the cons, and to which you place a higher value.

i am having mine re-painted. the body shop sugessted a two stage system known as base coat / clear coat. also urathane primer. the base coat is almost a flat color, the clear coat then goes over it to bring up the gloss. the clear coat has UV inhibitors and will keep dark colors from fading. as an extra step you can wet sand the clearcoat to eliminate any orange peel. a very durable finish.
