fabric and vinyl paint
I've seen this at stores before, but have never used it. Is it possible to change the interior of a Mercedes to a different colour, without wrecking it, using the spray fabric and vinyl paint?

I was recommended to use a product made by SEM to re-color my faded seats. I haven't tried it but it's supposed to be really good.

How hard would it be to change the colour of my interior from light brown (beige?) to black on my 126?
Including carpet?

If you are talking about all/major portions of the interior, I don't think you will like the results. It may appear satisfactory at first, but some parts will need to be touched up at times. I've changed color on a few panels on other vehicles but even with a lot of prep work, it still needed an occasional touch up. For smaller parts, it works great.

SEM products are excellent! I had a dash dyed brown on a '70 6.3 and the it looked perfect. Going from light to dark is easier and a good prep is necessary. You may need to touch up from time to time and you need to be careful with cleaning products as the finish can be compromised. Good luck!
