DFW Detail Shop Referral (Preferrably Fort Worth Location)
I recently took my old 240D to the "do-it-yourself" carwash and the paint has looked faded and shows very faint streaking (from the water?) ever since. The car had light oxidation in keeping with the year (early 80's), but ever since the wash the paint shows more oxidation. The only possible cause I can think of is that the car wash lines were crossed and I sprayed it with hard water or "degreaser".
I would like to find a good, reasonably priced detail shop to try to bring the paint back to life. I thought maybe a professional detailing would help to return the luster of my 240's exterior. Fort Worth is closer to me but a Dallas shop is not out of the question. Last edited by treydub; 05-29-2007 at 10:28 PM. |

Detailing is one of my side jobs. You'd be amazed at the kind of magic that can be worked with a buffer. I'm on the Dallas side but can work mobile if needed. PM me if you're interested.
