*** Air-cleaner Cover is a bit funky... ***
My air-cleaner cover is a bit funky...the original black paint is flaked off. To be honest, the cover could use a little elbow grease (EG) and some paint to spiff it up...
QUESTION: What is the "official" MB color for the air-cleaner? Is there an appropriate "substitute" - in a KRYLON or RUSTOLEUM brand that has proven to be heat-resistant? I'm thinking it would be a semi-flat/semi-gloss style of black, but I don't want to spray just anything on it... Anyone know the right stuff to use? BTW, the engine is the 110.984 series... Thanks...
