W124 Dash Vent Repair

Hi!

I have a 1987 300D and the vent closest to the passenger door has the fins pointing in all directions. I've searched the web and have been unable to find any hints on how to repair this.

Have any of you had experience re-aligning the vent fins?

Thanks for your help!

Kevin

take the vent unit out and it should be obvious on how to repair it. It might be that the fins have come out of their 'carrier' and it's easy to push them back in. small fingers help.
