has anyone had experience wit painting/dying vinyl seats or door pannels? i understand some of the new primers offer the elasticity necessary but am afraid to do items like seats in fear it will crack off. i am contemplating a color change in my 76 300d while i am restoring it. the carpet and headliner are shot but the seats and door pannels are in serviceable condition. cost is a consideration. i now have green exterior and interior and would like to go with brown on the interior

Mar-Hyde makes vinyl paint in cans. I don't know if it's available in the states. Color range is limited though, brown should be in there. You have to spray it in very thin coats, it gets sucked up by the vinyl. My results were good on a black interior (black on clack). Need any more info email me mihai@colba.net I'll be glad to help.
