Do any of you guys running concours standard cars cure stone chips on paintwork yourselves without respraying?
I need to invisibly cure several(Many!) on the hood & front fender before applying transparant protective tape. The finish must be close to perfect.
Do you have any tips or details for achieving this please?

Are you going to apply the protective film yourself?

If so, help us with some insight on proper install, how is looks after install, etc. etc.

tks-fad

Many thanks Shaun,I will study the site.I will certainly advise fad of my success/failure with the 3M tape, once I have eliminated the stone chips successfully & obtained relevant info: on wet application method, which hopefully,Brian K can provide.
