Headline Glue?

The headliner on our 79 300d is beginning to come off by the rear window. I would like to glue it back and was wondering if there was a specific glue I should be using?

Ideas?

I have this issue as well, and intend to use contact cement on it if all else fails. I have successfully used contact cement to attach one in a 60's Dodge Dart, and it held up very well. Someone else may have a better suggestion, since once contact cement has been used, it will likely never come off in one piece if it needs to.

I've used this...

... before, if the repair is fairly good size. This product is excellent for adhering engine hood pads, too. You can find this product at AutoZone, and probably any well-stocked auto parts store.

Cheers,
Jeff

I have used a product made by 3M that was specifically called Headliner Glue. In my case it didn't really work because the foam material under the fabric had deteriorated and would not hold. I got it a AutoZone or some place like that.
