Leathertique amazing

I took a shot and ordered leathertique and have just finished usiing it on both my cars as per instructions. Unbelievable how much dirt it removed and how new the seats look. It unbelievable how this product is not in every auto patrs store. I think I am an informed auto consumer but never heard of it before this forum. They realy need to advertise more. I was using Mothers before this every couple of months, but never got the seats to look like this. The 95 MB looks almost new, and I used Mothers twice on them before I tried leathertique, with no inprovement. Expensive but worth it.

The OTC leather "treatment" products can't compare to Leatherique.

I've purchased in the pats from Larry Emmons @ Emmonscoachworks.com (I think that's right). He had the best pricing. Maybe somebody else has better today, don't know for sure.

Enjoy.

I bought some of the rejuvinator oil and pristine clean from the Leatherique web site. They had a special going if you bought a 32 oz bottle of each - but that was over a month ago. The seats on my 87 560SL are going to need another application, but the first time through with the oil & pristine clean removed a LOT of the 20 years of grime that have built up. The previous owner used shoe polish and Armorall

Karl, I think you're referring to Leatherique. It does a fine job restoring dried out leather if the application instructions are followed exactly.

Very important point! Thanks for mention it.

I've also found things work much better (when using the RO) if you do it on a hot day and let the stuff sit for several hours before doing the second step.

Did You Dye the Seats Also

Did you dye the seats when you reconditioned them?

I used the Leatherique system ~6.5 years ago to re-dye and condition my leather interior, and it worked wonderfully well. Recently I read somewhere about Pristine Clean working to clean tinted windows, and the tint on my windows had become kind of cloudy over the last 6.5 years, so, I tried it on a small corner of my driver's side front window. I couldn't believe how well it worked, so I continued on. The tint was so cloudy that I had seriously considered having the front windows re-tinted, but after spraying with Pristine Clean, and using some elbow grease and an old soft cotton t-shirt, I can now see clearly through them! Just my experience, if you use it on your tint, please test a small corner out first, but I am tickled pink with how my windows have turned out!

Did you use windex and paper towels on your tint. If you did thats why it clouded up on you. You cant use any household glass cleaners because they have ammonia and they eat at the tint. If you have tint you must use automotive glass cleaner and a microfiber or 100% cotton towel. Hope that this will help you keep those windows cleaner longer for you.

You're right, one day I must have had a brain fart and attempted to use Windex on them, with paper towel, and the paper towel had little fibers come off and stick to the tint.
Bottom line, though, the Pristine clean fixed all of that and they are once more clear again!
Thanks for your advice!
