Hello,

How do you remove the plastic lens that covers the luggage compartment lightbulb without breaking it? I have a 1994 E280 W124.

Patience and least amount of force. I tried it and it works.

No way out other than to pry and pull and tug a little all at the same time.

When replacing the bulb, ensure that it doesn't touch the clear plastic. My did from the the PO. Burnt it yellow and bubbled inside. sigh....

Yeah the bulb gets really hot! I burnt myself changing it, either hold the plunger down or disconnect the battery before changing
