seat cover
 

The cargo net on my '87 260e is busted and I need to get the seat cover off to get ot the screws, does anyone know how. I took of the screws holding in the seat back, but i am afraid of pulling too hard.

If it is like my 124, after removing the couple of screws at the bottom, I had to then remove the seat cover from one side of the plastic cover, I was then able to remove the whole seat cover. I would imagine you could just as easily remove the seat cover from both sides of the back to save you from having to pull the cover out of the bottom of the seat and having to remove all the clips holding the cover to the seatback. The cover itself just is just folded over into the backing cover with a metal clip on each end to help hold it in.
