Mercedes Steering Wheel... but for which vehicle?

I have a genuine Mercedes Benz steering wheel in my basement. It belonged to my ex boyfriend - he used to work in a factory where they assembled the steering wheels with their airbags.

Anyway the steering wheel is in perfect condition and I want to put it up on ebay, but I have no idea what vehicle it goes in or anything about it. It's leather wrapped with dark burl wood color around it. It has some numbers inside but I don't know if they are relevant to anything. I have the front cover to it where you push the horn and it has the little chrome symbol on it.

Anyone know what this goes to, or a part number or anything?
Thanks!

Here are some pictures:

How much are you asking for the wheel?

I was going to put it up for auction starting at $350, with $25 for shipping in the US (but willing to negotiate). Like I said, I didn't pay anything for it in the first place, I just want to get rid of it! Are you interested in buying? Shoot me an email if you are interested - it would save me the trouble of dealing with ebay!

YIKES!..350.00 Like i said..I would have to see a much more robust representation of the item in photos,,,looks like BLACK wood in current form. As I mentioned, mine is a Zembrano solid piece of wood that matches the zembrano wood inlay in the w123 to a T but no leather wrap.

next?

Well, I did say that I would negotiate. To be honest it's more important to me to be rid of it than to make all kinds of money off of it.

I'll put some more photos up later on today, and if anyone wants to make an offer on it that's fine.

Isn't that an aftermarket wheel? I didn't think Mercedes made any like that.

I don't THINK it's an aftermarket. I know that it was mfg. sometime between 2000 and 2003, and the place where it was from shipped the finished part with the airbag in it to Germany. That's really all I know.

If it went on a Mercedes. It will have a part number stamped on it somewhere.
