Interior Swap in 300 CD

I have an unhealthy fetish for the black interior on the 300 series. I recently purchased a 79 non-turbo 300 CD parts car with a black interior and have a 85 Turbo CD with a tan interior that I would like to pull. Can anyone foresee any problems? They look the same but I am extremely new at this and am probably overlooking something. I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the lower dash panel was different but of course I can't verify. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

there should not be any difference in the dash panels.. . Never owning a coupe.. just making a logical guess since most of the W123 series is the same forward of the dash.

just be careful removing everything.. if you don't know how it comes off.. ask us.. I just swapped the entire interior(except the headliner) in my sedan.. boy was that fun.

id be interested in your palamino a pillars when you are done.

Id recommend taking the window regulators out and cleaning and regreasing them while you are in there. And condition the leather Tex at the same time.
