trim parts

anybody know what the part is called/where to get the part that holds the chrome trim bits on the body to said body?

one of mine was broken, so i was pulling (carefully) the trim piece off, so it wouldn't fall off and get lost, and the other piece broke, too.

it looks to be a little springy clip-type deal. that scres to the trim and is then clipped into the corresponding slot on the body panel.

I have a 1980 280SE myself I just got about a week ago, I have a few of these clips that were basically failed too on the front fenders (rusty, loose or broken). I got a few used but good ones off of a few diesel W126's at the junk yards. took me a while to figure out how to get them off without breaking em... Once you are there you gotta get em back into the pannel you want to use and then slide the trim into place and pop the panel back onto the car! I am curious to see pictures of yours, I am assuming it is a euro model like mine? What color combo? Mine is gold with brown leather.
