Any suggestions on how to get a 2005 SLK center console door to open properly? It's a very unusual (a designer no doubt thought clever) door that is SUPPOSED to open to the left, the right or the center (the last opening to a second, larger compartment than that exposed by the right- or left-opening doors). But it doesn't work!! The dealership told me that neither they nor Mercedes has a fix.
I've talked to at least one other SLK owner who suffers from the same annoyance.
Somebody out there's got to have an answer...I hope!!
