Regluing Wood

Ok, this is probably really REALLY basic, but can anyone recommend a good glue for reattaching the center console wood to the plastic backing?

Story here is, my 300SD got broken into last month, and without using expletives here, they stole my ancient crappy stereo, in the process separating the wood from the plastic (and breaking a couple of the switches as well).

I'm slowly piecing it all back together, but it's clear the wood needs to be reattached.

Thanks!

For wood-to-wood I always use yellow carpenter's glue, but wood-to-plastic would probably do best with Gorilla glue. The yellow carpenter's glue works very well for reattaching veneer that has separated, too.

i have had good luck with some E6000. it's a little harder to find but it sure does work, and it's flexible. that's the problem with gorilla glue because down the road it's going to squeak or pop off because the glue is too hard.
