1980 300D vacuum line plastic cover removal

I need to access the vacuum lines under the plastic gutter on the floorboard of my 1980 300D. The cover is held in place by plastic connectors (looks like plastic rivets). How do I remove the plastic connectors or cover without breaking the plastic tabs, does the cover just pry off the tabs or do I need to pull the plastic tabs from the floorboard?

Thank you.

I just use the blade of a screwdriver and twist/pop them out by prying between the head of the pin and the flat part. Sometimes the entire pin comes out and sometimes both pieces come out. It's better if the pin comes out completely. Sometimes needle nose pliers are required. Either way, I haven't broken one yet. It's the kind of fastener that is going to be less effective the more you remove and install. I've had both of my covers out two times and all are holding well after re-install. My car is an '82 300DT so I imagine we're talking about the same thing.
