400E Clear Coat or NOT - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Greetings

I recently purchased a 1992 400E color- Blue/Black Benz.
The detail job performed prior to my purchase gives my car a clear coat finish. However, I was wondering if the finish is truly a clear coat finish, it has the original BLUE/BLACK paint.
