redoing front seats.

A while back there was a post that did a step by step on how to do this.Replacing the pads, adding new springs and where to buy all of what was needed.I can not find that thread.

It might be over in DD.

I've done four of them and can help you with any questions that you might have.

I strongly encourage you to buy a brand new seat pad from Gahh and some tough memory foam in 1" thickness. My two seats that were redone with these two are fantastic. The one that reused the existing pad with a new spring frame is not.

Yep.......and worth every penny.

Why would you ask them about foam? Did they ever use foam? They sell pads.......that's it.

What I mentioned is the use of a tough memory foam in 1" thickness will give a very comfortable seat. I did not suggest that Gahh sold such foam or had any understanding of the need for such foam.

It as them that I called about the coupe pads, I remember their very dated website. I'll try GAHH for a new coupe seat pad, I had already gotten a 1'' memory foam pad but was never able to source the rubberized horsehair one.
