Cup holder. Again. '94 E320 Cab.
Hey everyone. I've searched this forum, and The Internets, and found lots of dead links, and a few sort of semi-ok-looking cup holder "solutions." I'm gonna throw the question out there and see if there's some double super awesome cup holder solution I've missed somehow.
I have a '94 E320 Cabriolet. No cup holders. Tried the "wedgie" thing - don't really like how I have to jam it in there, I'm worried it's going to wreck the trim piece that piece that fills in the gap between the seat and the drive shaft tunnel/console area. Tried a "hanging over the door" thing, and it wasn't very stable. I saw the PVC fittings setup for another model, which I might try, if I can't find something else. So... is there something better than I can just order up and get a-drivin'? Thanks! Last edited by Hooligan; 05-26-2009 at 08:34 AM. |

In my old 1993 300E (3.2) "E320", I installed one from www.griotsgarage.com that worked fabulously.
http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/car+accessories/interior+accessories/folding+cup+holder.do?search=basic&keyword=cup+holder&sortby=newArrivals&page=1 I installed one on each door. Pictures are in this thread: No cup holder in my 95 E420

I've seen a lot of those in Benzes, but didn't know where they came from. Thanks (even though I don't allow beverages in any of my cars . . .).

Thanks Suginami, I had seen some references to those, in fact, I think I even looked at that thread, but I don't want to put holes in the panels. I've been using the wedgie one, but it pretty much sucks. The mechanism on those sounds great, I've been thinking of how to adapt them in somehow in a less damaging manner.
