iam in the process of rebuilding rear 116 seat ,a number of seats i have found the straw (green pad) in most is mostly brown and dried out and just crumbles to dust if distrubed i have one the is still mostly green. is there anyway of perserving this to reduce the drying out?
i thought maybe the steel suspension in the springs that are rusty maybe part of the problem as the brown colour seems to start around the areas that the steel is in contact with this mat
thought i could remove the cover and put on better shell? and is there a way to repair the shell most the cotton fabric of seat cover ?
