3M CLEAR BRA
what can anyone tell me about this product.
it seems like one of the best ideas around. and wish that i had known about it some thousands of miles ago. anyway, had it applied to my 2006 cl500 today. should arrest the love bug and rock pits on the front end of this car. i recently acquired a virtually new 2008 porschee cayenne turbo. it has been detailed by the seller. before i drive it for any distance, i am having it clear bra'ed. a good idea? i think so. should keep the front end looking cherry. but are there problems with it? i know of no high-end dealer in houston that promotes it. yet, on the east coast, it is routinely promoted by the f&i closer. at an outrageous mark-up. for instance jack daniels porsche wanted $1,500. i can have it done for $495. very professionally. any thoughts out here about this product? all ears. |

Protect the new paint!!!
I am giving serious consideration to this product or something like it. Our '96 E300D is getting its front end completely redone as part of an insurance settlement (wife hit a deer). This will wipe out 15 years and 273,000 miles of rock chips and dings. Seems to me it's worth a few hundred bucks to prevent a repetition.
