Tire Bead sealer removal
 

I just got done detailing the wife's car, spent WAY too much time on it, but it really looks nice.

But I haven't touched the wheels or tires, the wheels have huge amounts of bead sealant showing. The OEM tires leaked like crazy, so my local Indie reseated all with heavy bead sealant, then when we had new tires put on, more again.

How can I remove this stuff without scratching them ?

Cast aluminum OEM rims.

Any recommendations for tire dressing ?
I've tried a bunch with poor to OK results, never found one that impressed me.
Well one, but it was oil based, I've been told that stuff rots the tires, and even it only held up for a short time.

I 303's the entire interior, was thinking of using it but ???

Have you tried a tar remover product such as Meguiars bug and tar remover?

Haven't tried anything yet, hoping someone could point me in the right direction to begin with.

Besides I already spent more time on it than it's worth.

Although it really does look nice.

303 Aerospace Protectant.

After you wash the tires (Inner and Outer faces) spray on and let soak in
[If it's the first application,2-3 times.]

It'll PROTECT the Tires against UV deterioration [That's what kills Tires]

As a Backup Treatment I use Vinylex every other application.

KLK, try cleaning clay on the wheels to remove the bead sealant. If that doesn't work try Meguiar's Cleaner Wax or polishing compound (which is more aggressive).

303 Aerospace Protectant produces a nice satin finish on tires and protects the sidewall from UV-rays, as mentioned already. I have been using it for years to detail the tires after every car wash.
