Vinyl seat covers

Wanting to replace both front seat covers. Original Palomino MBtex not bad condition but a few cracks and some fading. Cushions seem to be in good shape.
I have been considering Basic Inc. for replacement covers. They quoted me $430 total for both front seats (bottoms, backs, and headrests).

Does anyone have any experience with them. I have searched on this and other forums but have found little info.

Thanks

I can't help you much about Basic, Inc., as I've never heard of them. Website?

What I can comment on is caution that the material absolutely be MBTex vinyl. There are Chinese manufactured vinyls that look good to start, but fade and wear much quicker than the 'real thing'. I got this tidbit from the upholsterer I use here in FL. Good Luck

Also, how difficult for me will replacing the covers be? I am pretty handy but particular... Should I take it to an upholstery shop? Also, I already have a new replacement drivers seat spring... The current one sits pretty well but sometimes has a "pop" to it...

Thanks,
Ben
