I am replacing the carpet in the cargo area of my '82 300 TD wagon. Can anyone tell me what kind of adhesive would work best? Would one of those 3M HiTack Spray Adhesives work okay, or would you recommend something more "industrial".

3M HiTack Spray Adhesives should work ok, just make sure to spray both surfaces, let sit for 5 min. or so than put the carpet in (read can instructions).

You may need some help to hold the carpet up/off while you press and work down the first/lead end.
