I know how this is going to sound, but here goes. I found the stuff at a local Houston flea market. This 20 something man was selling it as a wheel polish. The demo was very impressive. So I figured Id give it a try. This stuff is truly magic. Its a father and son thing. He gave a long story of how he developed the recipie. Im not sure how to reach them except that I can go back next weekend and get more details.

The results are almost instantanious using the dremel tool. Its a good thing that I took the photos when I did cuz there arent many places left on my car that need the treatment.

Ill try to get an address or phone number.

i am interested in getting this green magic stuff but i have to say that i think half the secret is the dremel + buffing wheel setup. i have some "blue magic" that i tried with my dremel tool after reading this thread and it is 90% there. i also notice that running at high (35k rpm) produces the best results although th wheel is now 2/3 of its original size. my 2 cents...

I disagree. I tried all sorts of stuff with the dremel. This is the only stuff that produced great results. The next best thing was jewlers rouge. But it tended to leave a redish haze and it took a lot more time even using the dremel.

I found that a medium hard felt cylinder shaped buffer works best. Low speed and high friction is better than high speed and low friction. High speed just causes the green magic to fly off the buffer wheel. The felt wheel I am using has no noticable wear at all after doing about half of the car.

This buffer wheel (hard felt) works best.

dave,

i have that smaller cylindrical wheel, gotta try that. i am just stating my experience from 10 minutes ago where i went over it once at low speed then tried a section at high speed. the blue magic stuff is also chemically reactive as it has a strong ammoniacal odor and turns black after a bit. so how do we get ahold of this green magic stuff?

i don't dispute your results just reporting mine...

Probably the only way to get some is for me to go to the flea market and pick up a case or so. I was thinking of doing that anyway for myself. Let me know if you are interested. The price I paid was $19.95 a bottle. The bottle is good size and would last a long time.

Ok here is my address;

David Petryk
6120 West by Northwest Blvd.
Suite # 180
Houston, TX 77040

Before you send anything and before I commit to this, let me get some more at the flea market first. I will go this weekend. If he is there and I score some I will let you know. Shipping is probably 2-3 dollars.

I will let you know. I want to get a couple more bottles for myself.

I too, would be interested in obtaining a bottle of green magic.

I bet he would make a deal if you ended up getting a case of that stuff..... tempt him with the idea of mercedesshop being a vendor of their product, and him getting rich quickly..hehehe

I was not able to get to the flea market this weekend. My plan is to get there this comming one. I guess my next question is how many bottles should I buy?

I need a commitment and a number from those of you who want some.

Let me hear from you.

Dave-

How much will it take to do 1 car? And how many times per year do you think we'll have to do it to keep the shine?

Didn't they put an address or phone number on the tube/bottle to order more?

Craig

I used very little. I would guess that about a half of a 35mm film containers worth of the stuff is all it took to do the trim on my car. The bottle would probably last a lifetime. But it works on a lot of other things as well - like wheels.
