Question Dark Zebrano Wood?

The Zebrano wood in my 87 wagon is much darker than in my 91 2.5 sedan. Does anyone have any method to lighten it up? There is a great Zebrano repair thread going right now so i now know how to repair the little cracks but i really would like to see it a lighter color, any suggestions? TIA Don

It's pretty much the way it's going to be. Not much you can do. The color varies a lot. All the wood in one car is matched, but these pieces mostly likely will not match another car.

Short of stripping it and refinishing it yourself, you're stuck with it the way it is.

The burlwood in my '95 did that too, the darkened finish really obscured the grain.
