I doubt your going to find one specific to a 123 sedan. Performance Products has a whole bunch of options - http://www.performanceproducts4benz.com/mercedes-car-covers-cover-king.html

I don't know where they got it, but I saw one on a 123 in a parking garage. Specific to that car due to the fit and the envelope at the front of hood for the star. Might have been several years old.

About 3 or 4 years ago I bought ones for all my cars at Target for around $40. They were actually of decent quality with a cable and lock, storage bag, and I think waterproof. They were a univeral fit but came in different sizes. Don't know if they still carry them and don't remember the brand name.

SUPER NICE CAR COVER UPDATE !!
I wanted to bring this thread back up and update it.
Since my post I found and bought a really nice cover for my 240 D. And since my 240 D, I found and bought another really nice 300 D.... Yes, I also ordered a cover for my 300 D since it to is a gem car inside and out and I want to keep it that way. I wanted to let everyone know these covers are amazing works and seem to made with the utmost precision and care. They stay on the car in VERY strong winds without a rope under belly because each end has some sort of elastic front and rear. They take only a few seconds to put on and take off and are marked FRONT to make it easier. The seams are sewn perfectly and they are light as a feather. I really can't say enough about these covers. I have another one for my 300 D on way and can't wait since we have had many inches of HEAVY rain and high winds in TN in the last week and all this pollen and yellow stuff coming off the trees will never touch my cars. These things fit like a glove too. Water runs off like a ducks back. I am listing the link and type I bought and can provide detailed pictures for anyone who is interested in keeping their cars as clean and nice as possible outside and in..........I think they are worth every penny. They are a little pricey, but come with a 5 year warranty OUTSIDE in the rain and snow. I have no affiliation at all with these covers or company and only wanted to let eveyone know where to get a top of the line cover. And last, the person I dealt with on 3 separate orders (floor mats too) was very easy to work with and very prompt and nice. www.CarCoverUSA.com The exact 2 covers I ordered are as follows, CA78HG Cover: 1981 MERCEDES-BENZ 240D Sedan (4 Door)/(W123/ C/W123)/ 2 Mirror Pockets/ Size G3 2 Mirror Pockets - WeatherShieldŽ HD Each 422.99 CA78HG Cover: 1982 MERCEDES-BENZ 300D Sedan (4 Door)/(W123/ C/W123)/ 2 Mirror Pockets/ Size G3 2 Mirror Pockets - WeatherShieldŽ HD Each 422.99 If your car is outside and you want to preserve it and can't put it under a garage, then $400 is a cheap solution I think. If anyone needs details pics of my covers email me. Mods, delete this post if not allowed. Revolverman. Last edited by Revolverman; 03-11-2011 at 11:23 PM. |
