Has anyone used Klasses acrylic paint sealent
Hay guys.
Has anyone use Klasses acrylic paint sealent. I was looking for a long lasting way and I came acrossed this on the net. http://shop.store.yahoo.com/autopia/klassealglaz.html The direction said you you have to do is to wipe it on my question. But I have heard that it was hard to get it on and off. Can any one describe their real experience with this product. Also their Klass-all-in-one product also. thanks, I just want to get real live opinions with this product before spending my hard earned money on this stuff. blau

I've used it for several years and will continue to do so. A little does go a long way & I think the stuff does last a little longer that regular wax and it does bring out a nice deep shine. For me, the main benefit is that you can apply it to anything! Rubber, plastic it doesn’t mater how porous the material is…..it won’t leave behind a white stain once dried. So in short, One can apply Kalsse to the entire car. Also, it is slightly more difficult to remove that regular wax. Clean the surface of the car with their cleaner before applying or it will be VERY difficult to remove (I know from experience, hehe)

Do you need to buff??
And why do you need to use their cleaner? Is is because so you will not seal in dirt with the sealent, then it becomes difficult to get to the dirt through the sealent. thanks.

I've never buffed any of my cars with a mechanical buffer. I do it all by hand. I dont really know why you have to use their cleaner......actually you dont *have* to use their cleaner because I ran out when I cleaned up the 420. I used some "mothers cleaner wax" that I allready had and eveything turned out fine.
It will take some elbow grease to remove the sealant.....If it's any help I found that Zymol was more dificult to remove than the Klasse, I think I put the zymol on too thick though. I see your ML is black, The Klasse will give it a nice mirror finish. My Jetta is black & It's always looked great. Another plus with the Klasse is that there is very litte powdery residue left after buffing compared to wax. |

So it is not any more difficult to apply than your conventional past wax. Would you say??
And also did you use their all-in-one or their sealent glaze? thanks blau

It is slightly more difficult but it's worth it. I've never use an orbital buffer so I dont know how easy it would be to remove it with one.
If you choose to get Klasse, you'll notice that the directions for the sealant glaze read "apply a thin coat"...........and they mean THIN. The thicker it's applied, the harder it is to get off. I've used/use both. The "All-in-one" is basically a cleaner wax and I recommend that you use it (or any cleaner wax) before applying the Sealant Glaze. It will make removing the sealant glaze much easier. I wouldn't use the "all-in-one" by itself because I dont think it has any protective qualities. The stuff is good but its only for after you polish or hand wax the car with klasse all in one(red bottle) you use the galze after and yes it ids hard to get off but try leaving it on longer, I have used all the klasse products for many years both as a pro detailer and on my own cars it is the best stuff ever and belive me i have tried 100s of products but nothing works as well or lasts as long... try to find some klasse all in one it wortk as a light oxidation remover and will polsih chrome and remove rust its amaizing stuff you will find it in red bottles or possible siver can if its an old bottle...
