The rear electric bucket seat conversion into the 560 was not that difficult to do. If you are handy with a plasma cutter, welding and understand basic automotive electrics then it should be an easy task provided you have all of the needed parts from a donor car. The rear electric bucket seats were normally found in the gen 1 500SEL but were optional and could be ordered from factory. I stopped working on this conversion back in August so I could build a garage/workshop so that I could have a nicer place to work on the 560 instead of out in the old barn with a dirt floor. If you want to learn more about the conversion then go check out my thread in the W126 section of benzworld.org and look up "Operation 040 Black swap in the works" as there is a ton of info in that thread regarding this conversion.

Some upgrades that I've added along the way. The interior is still a mess right now and I am still trying to source out some parts. I already have a set of front Recaro Ideal C's and the rare Clarion rack system along with a Victor wood steering wheel. W140 glass top sunroof conversion is complete and I am working on getting the Webasto pre heater ready for installation right now.

I was browsing the rear seats and came across this and thought I'd add that I have the 2nd generation W126 560sel with the single rear seats. It's shown on the VIN as item 224. (Rear single seats and headrests electrically adjustable)
I'll try and post the picture.
