I've used a Meguiars leather product that was basically a lotion. I rubbed it into the seats and let it sit for a month, the leather absorbed all of it. It did soften things up some, but I bet another treatment would help more.

Lexol works well on leather upholstery. It works best if the leather is warm or even a little bit hot.

Works best the warmer the leather is. Clean it with the Lexol cleaner first, then apply the conditioner and let the car sit in the sun for an hour or so with the windows up.

To help it soak in even more, try putting plastic cooking wrap on the seat after application. This keeps the conditioner from evaporating and lets it soak in longer.

After an hour of this, you will want to sleep in it just for the smell alone
