Blue Magic Leather & Vinyl Cleaner (Update)

The driver side door panel on the 300D was looking good and dingy so I decided to try out a new product I recently purchased; Blue Magic Leather and Vinyl Cleaner and Blue Magic Leather Cream Conditioner. First, I applied the cleaner to a wash cloth and applied it to the door panel. The embedded dirt lifted out easily and after a second application the door looked a LOT better! I then decided to use the cleaner on the other three doors even though they were not very dirty. I then applied the Blue magic Leather Cream Conditioner to all four doors; they all look really nice!

I then used Aerospace Protectant 303 on the dashboard of both cars; I applied it twice according to the directions. The 300D's dash is already showing cracks which I have attempted to fill with patch filler. The 560SEL's dash is show room new so I am very interested in maintaining it. The Aerospace Protectant 303 is perhaps the very best product to use on the dash boards of these cars. I also applied it to the steering wheel with good results.

Tomorrow I am going to use the Blue Magic Leather products on the seats of the 560SEL. If today's experience is any indicator the product should come in at five stars. I've looked at many many different leather care products; so far I am happy with the Blue Magic products.

UPDATE: Utilized the Blue Magic products today on the 1991 560SEL. This was the first time I used anything on the leather since the car was purchased over five years ago. The Blue Magic products were easy to use though it took elbow grease to complete the tasks. The seats and headrests look great! I used the Blue Magic Leather and Vinyl Cleaner on the door arm rests; it lifted the dirt and grime out really well. I then used the Novus #1 Plastic Cleaner to clean the wood trim and the trim now looks great.

Afterwards, I crawled under the car and sprayed Mother's Rubber Vinyl Plastic Protectant on the rubber CV joints on the rear axle. It's kind of difficult to spray the forward facing part of the CV boot so I positioned myself directly in front of the rear wheel which made it easier to spray this difficult to access area. Treating the CV rubber with Mother's Rubber Vinyl Plastic Protectant helps to keep the CV rubber moist so that it doesn't crack (expensive to repair). I've been doing this to both cars approximately once every two months or so......
