how to remove back seat 300cd

no problem removing lower seat, it's the back rest portion i'm having trouble with. where is the release?

I don't have a coupe but the sedans / saloons have a single screw behind the arm rest (dig in there a bit to see it) and a screw on either side of the seat at the bottom corners. Once the screws are out you need to lift the seat up off of a lip on the parcel / hat shelf.

I'm guessing the coupe is the same.

(Fingers crossed here's hoping I'm right => take cover!)

I'm thinking it's the same. Remove the bottom, possibly 3x phillips, lift up.

No "release button" or anything like that.
