Need help, seat from 92 for a 87

Cheers I have 1987 300 SDl,, my seats are toast,, I have a chance to get 1992 300 E seats same color,, they look very close from the photos, but will these bolt right in ? They are about 100 miles from my location and if I go I will have to use the van and trailer. I hope down the road I can get better 87 seats or restore my old ones ,, he is asking $ 50 to 100 for frt and rr, so any thoughts ? Thank you DD.

Until someone corrects me,NO

The W124 seats(300E) are different than the W126 (300SDL)seats.

Different parts numbers in the EPC.

They MIGHT "Bolt Right Up", But I doubt it...the W126 seats are Wider.

I too would have to agree with you on that one as there is a very good probability that both of them might bolt up. Width of W126 really isn’t much of an issue.
