Removing glue residue
My new project car has a glue problem. It is a 1988 300CE with leather door trim (Brabus modified car). Some clown glued wood strips on the door right on the leather. The wood comes right off, but leaves behind hard, dried glue residue. Any suggestions on how to remove it? I thought about heating it with a heat gun and then scraping with something plastic, but don't know if the combination heat and glue might permanently damage the leather. Would goof off or something like that work without harming the leather?
