Does any one know if front seats from a 1991 300E will fit to a 1994 E420.
I know about the armrest being different but my concern is if the seats will bolt to the floor and the power wires plug in.These are standard seats,not the air type or the sportline style.
Just looking to bolt in seats that also work.
Armrest i will deal with later.
Also i read that the seat bottoms are the same left/right

I have done the swap before, with opposite cars (newer to older).

1) Passenger seat: direct bolt-on. No issues.
2) Driver's seat: you will need to take both seats apart. In order to install the 1991 seats, you need to take the tracks and motors from the 91 and swap them onto the bottom cushion of the 94. You do not need to do anything with the seat back other than reattach it with the bottom once you are done with the base swap. No upholstery work, just clean 10 and 13mm wrenching.
