Make sure you use the right adhesive putting that in. And don't skimp on it, either!

What is the right glue, I see a lot of different ideas from commercial liquid nails to 3 M?

Use the 3m stuff. You can find it on amazon for like 10 bucks. Buy the smallest can. You don't need much.
Mine has been holding tight for over 6 months now.

I'm thinking it's called 3M 88 or something like that. It's mentioned in a number of threads on this topic. Spray the hood and the liner several times. You can't put too much on it. They have a tendency to fall off after a while if you don't use enough adhesive.

Thanks for the help, used the 3m 90 about one and two thirds cans. Set up almost instantly, over 80 degrees here. Used a razor blade scraper on the old hard fuzz and glue, then wiped down with lacquer thinner. The glue went on very easy, using the medium setting, no over spray. Centered the liner at the bottom and worked up-
