I need to replace the door seals on my W126 300SD, all the fabric covers are rotting off and the rubber is falling apart.

I have never been able to tell what is SUPPOSED to be in there, under the fabric. Is that supposed to be two pieces, or were they glued together once? When it comes out, what should I replace it with?

...actually, the wind seals.

Come on, the factory service manual has garbage pictures, nobody can tell me anything? I want to make sure I don't buy new rain seals, those are in great shape.
