new car leather and vinyl car.

Just purchased a new car [not an MB] and would like to protect and care for the leather seats and the vinyl dash. Also this car has an after market vinyl roof, what should i use to keep it looking good?

It's the best. Order some and follow the directions. You'll be very happy.

Leatherique is a fabulous product, but in my opinion it is of no incredible benefit to brand new leather. I agree with the notion that it is mainly for restoring old and neglected leather. It is a great product, but results on new leather will be comparable to any good leather cleaner and conditioner.

I switched leather cleaners a couple years ago to a product made by Imperial Leather. Detailers seemed to swear by it.

I couldn't find the Homepage for the stuff but here's a link to the place that I buy it from with info on it.

Otherwise, I continue to use Lexol for leather conditioning. I'd use the Imperial Leather conditioner but the stuff is kinda pricey and I like to use generous amounts of conditioner.

The cleaner does work great though!

Lexol

I am a huge fan of the Lexol products.

There is 3 different Leather products.....a cleaner....a conditioner type product and another product that will not darken light colored leather.

As for the vinyl........Lexol's Vinylex!!! In my opinion there is not a finer vinyl/mb tex product on the market. It's in a blue bottle and I purchase it from Pep Boys.

I hope this helps!
