Window Switch Wiring Question

Hi, so I recently came into possession of an '81 300D sedan for a screamin' deal. Problem is that it has no window switches. No junkyard within 2 hours of me has switches, they've all been taken, and I refuse to pay the price for brand new switches. I had the idea to just wire in some aftermarket switches and found some fairly cheap double throw momentary switches. My question is: which wires do what? I count 7 wires going into the switch connector so... which wire is up/down in the front? up/down in the back? Power in? and can I leave the other two disconnected? I've never been great with wiring, but this seems like it should be really simple.
