how to sell dash for 87 300D?
I used to have a 1987 300D....don't have it any more but my one remaining spare part is a dash and glove box in gray for that model. They are in perfect condition. Any recommendations on how to sell these? where to post? how much to ask?
thanks -Harv |

The closest Mercedes club to you, on their online forum (if they have one)
Or Craigslist. Serious buyers use Craigslist search engines. Value? I don't have a clue, sorry. |

put it on ebay. should bring $150 if it is perfect. shipping thru usps or fedex is about $35 (buyer pays) and packing it is only mildly inconvenient

I used to say "it's worth whatever someone will pay on ebay" but I've been burned too many times listing a low starting price when I should have gone Buy It Now. For an item like that, you may want to research what they sell for at Potomac or one of those, and adjust your price accordingly as a buy-it-now depending on how quickly you want to turn it. Craigslist might be tough because you are relying on a local sale. How many guys in your town are looking for not only an '87 300d dash, but in the color gray to boot? Either way, there is definitely someone somewhere looking for just that. You just have to find him.
