w114/115 Dash into a w123?
 

Alright, maybe I'm crazy but the cars seem pretty similar size wise to me. Has anyone ever heard of this being done? Do you think I could stick a dash from the 114/115 into a 123 without to much modifications?

I love my w123s but man, the older model has such a classier interior in my opinion! I'd love to have the best of both worlds.

New member by the way. Been browsing your forum for years since I bought my first Mercedes but never joined up or posted anything. Such great information and people on board! Probably gonna become a regular now. About to start a big project once I get my hands on the right wagon. Just in the research phase right now though.

I would think the W114/115 chassis would be a bit narrower, but you would have to do some measuring.

Any thing is possible, look what the Hot Rod community does swapping parts and pieces.

Since you have a W123, maybe post this question in the Diesel Discussion. More activity over there.
