450SL Headrest Damage -- Beyond Repair?

Hi all -

I'm slowly trying to get my 1980 450sl back into good shape, and one of the most noticeable issues are my headrests. Both of them are like this, in the picture below. Its just the leather -- I am pretty sure the foam is in good shape. Is this beyond fixing? Any thoughts on how to get this fixed? Would it be an upholstery shop or any DIY?

Find a replacement headrest cover for each side; replacement is fairly straightforward. Under the headrest cushion there may be zips or tabs you need to compress together to unhook them.
