Hello, I'm new here and am not sure if this is the correct area for this post?
I am in need of a rear seat (back portion) for my 1976 450SEL. It is blue in color. The internal padding is quite worn and smashed down. I could possibly settle for the padding only and use my current leather, but I would prefer an entire used seat back in decent condition. If I were to get a newly upholstered one, I fear it would not match the rest of the cars interior. Does anyone have an idea where I could obtain the padding or the entire piece? I have exhausted the routes I can think of.

From what it sound by your post, the seat covers themselves are in good shape, just the padding underneath has disintegrated.
