I bought an 8oz size to try it out and if I like it I'll buy a gallon. I wont be able to tell if I don't mar the paint/swirls since it already needs correction(I needs a porter cable DA!) and I will give a review of it once I wash the car. I should get it Wednesday since autogeek is located within FL.

This is a very popular product on a lot of detailing forums. How did you like it? Did you find that it's better than traditional washes?

Good luck on getting a PC! I need one myself - quite a few benzes in the fleet need paint correction. By the way, doing a little bit of research has told me that Griot's Garage makes a DA polisher that might be better than the 7424XP. Also, I've heard good things about the new Meguiar's machine. I would suggest that you examine all of your options before you lay down $200 for a machine and pads.
Either way, the PC is probably more than sufficient for these older MB paints. My 83 300D has very soft paint, and I've heard that the early MB clear coats (like on your w123) are very thin and soft, so be careful polishing your car!

I really wouldn't trust a product like that personally. Water is the most important step in the washing process. If you aren't using water then you are making microscratches across the surface of the paint. I would avoid using any product that requires little or no water.

If it could be possible to "bath" a car...You would maintain an incredible display.

If you don't have washing facilities, in most places there are 24hour self-wash/pressure washer booths. Just make sure you DO NOT use any items other than the water. The soap is far too strong. It is like dish washing soap. Don't use their scrubbing mops...You may as well just dry the car with sandpaper. I bring my own bucket and Meguiars soap. I just wet the car, fill my bucket, do my thing then soak off + dry.

I am using water. The ONR is a rinseless product. Not waterless.

it works pretty good. But if your car is covered in mud then I'd do a conventional wash

I have a white car, and parked under a tree. A cherry tree to be exact. Every spring, my car looks like a pink parade parade. These petals leave the dead mark on my path. Car wash does not cut it, and we do not have the tube where I live. So I need an option. I read the reviews, and had to try TriNova.

Did a great job. I had to work in some areas more difficult than others to get the luggage, but my car looked very clean and shiny. And, it is slick. I put a rag on the hood and it slipped right away.
I will give it more than 5 stars if I can!
