w210 drivers seat foam
 

Hello, I have a 1997 E300 with an uncomfortable driver's seat. I suspect the previous owner was a hefty individual, because the seat bottom feels crushed down and flattened. It's not comfortable at all for long drives. I'm guessing it's the foam pad inside the seat that's bad? Does anyone know if the foam is replaceable, and if so what the part number(s) are to order from the dealer? Might as well replace both the seat bottom and seat back foams while I'm in there.

If you call the Parts Department at your local MB dealer a tech can look up the part number and price. Or, you can check at a salvage yard for a used seat/cushion.

You might be able to take a passenger seat apart and reuse the foam. Our guy at benzbonz.biz has a bunch of W210 seat bits.

The foam should have a part number stamped on it, there was a # when I pulled seats from my SL.

Also try car-part.com to search participating savage yards.
