colour code for interior parts
Hi, all,
I need to order the following parts but don't know which one I should My car is W124 300CE, the part I'm ordering is the central cover for the seat belt sender with part no. 1246921122 However, when I browse the catalog, I found there are nine version of it with a four-digit number attached, such as 3112, 5076, etc. I guess it denotes the colour but I can't associate it with the colour code I found on the plate. Any idea? Thanks! Herrick |

Could you post the VIN of the car, please? Or color code/name of the interior?

Another consideration is the parts might not be available or in a limited range of colors. You might end up painting the new one.

Look through your parts list for a 261 in the last 3 digits of the number. In the early 90's, lower body moldings , bumper , mirrors were painted in a flat finish using the standard color number + a leading digit. Your interior may follow the same convention since interior is generally painted mat.
Have a look at my post 7 for exterior colors. W210 paint code |
