W123 seats 1985 vs pre-1985 comfort

Ol' Yeller is an '83 W123 turbo. It has the usual wider 5-pleat driver and passenger seats.

Because of the special inserts, I am under the impression that the 1985 (+ 1984?) six-pleat seats could possibly be more comfortable in the summer due to the taller pleats. True? False?

Your thoughts/experience please.

Makes sense ,that might have been engineered in.Find most things on these cars well engineered.

5-pleats = MB-Tex
6-pleats = leather.
:)
