Bought seats from a 300CD w123...will they fit in my sedan?
Stupid me...I found some mint condition seats from a coupe w123, and rushed out to buy them and bring them home.
Blinded by the great deal on these fart-free like-new seats, I ignored the fact that they fold flat and are from a slightly different car. Will they fit in my 300D sedan? Will I have to swap the rails? Or should I swap the upholstery and padding with my seats Last edited by qwerty333; 12-08-2017 at 07:40 PM. |

I suspect you can bolt in a W123 coupe seat into a sedan although I don't know for sure. However, they will flip forward unless the latching system works. Additionally, you won't be able to swap out parts from the sedan to the coupe or vice versa. They are really two different beasts.

Yes ,coupe seats will fit into your 300d.You will notice when you sit in the seat a slightly slung back feeling though ,the bottom of the seat is at slightly at an angle over the 300d seat, the lower ceiling height of the coupe is why.Youll be comfortable with not that big of a change, nice seats .

It bolted right in without any modifications. It was comfortable, but a lot more sloped back on the bottom part than I am used to. Felt almost like a recliner or a dentist chair. I won't be keeping the seats unfortunately for the following reasons: 1. Can't lock the seatback, since it needs the vaccum connection that only the coupe has 2. Different seatbelt lock 3. Colour is different than my interior |

I'm located in Canada, near Toronto. I just want to get back the money I spent on them plus the rental van & gas. $400 Canadian is fine

Youll find someone closer ,it would of been a nice trip if I could .Peachparts ,key word parts ,everyone is looking for something here ,seats are hard to ship but those might be worth a good few fillups to get too.
