Refurbishing tail lights and head light surrounds.

I would like to refurbish my 76 300D tail lights and head light surrounds. Any suggestions as to a reflective paint for the reflectors and cleaning the lens and electrical connections. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Based on advice I read somewhere, I have tried Testor's Model Paint on both the inside and outside of the red reflectors, and neither looked good. I have tried a yellow-orange paint on the turn signals and it also didn't look good. I unfortunately gave up trying to refurb my w115 reflectors and lights and decided to replace a few of them (and just live with faded plastic on the others).

For the brakelight reflectors, I read somewhere that a glossy white paint is actually more reflective than the chrome/shiny spray paints. I don't know if that is true or not, but I used white paint on my reflectors and it looks just fine once the lens is over it.

My 1987 300TD wagon was sold and my 2003 W210 E320 wagon was totaled (sheds tear).
